Become a mental health first aider
Our 2-day, in-person Mental Health First Aid course equips you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to a client, friend, family member, co-worker, or another adult, experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.
In today’s world, more and more people are experiencing different forms of Mental Health (MH) which although normal still carries a stigma. Through education and awareness, people can learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of MH and be able to commence conversations to provide support and resources to someone experiencing MH.
Early intervention is one of the keys to getting someone help and if we can recognise some signs and symptoms, we can do more to support people experiencing MH. MH awareness will improve mental health literacy, reduce stigma, create a more compassionate, informed society and build community capacity to support people experiencing mental health problems.
