About our client
Our male client is in his late 20's living with his family in Swan Hill, he has Cerebral Palsy with complex care needs and has a team of staff supporting him 24/7.
About the Role
You will be working in the client's home with his family and other support workers on a 2:1 care basis. This is a casual position but with regular ongoing hours of 24-30 hours per week for suitable successful applicants.
Shift Requirements
This opportunity offers 6-hour & 8-hour shifts across a rotating roster 24 hours, 7 days a week. You must be able to work a minimum of 2 Active Overnight shifts (12 am to 8am), and have availability for other day shifts, weekdays, weekends and Public Holidays.
About You
It does not matter if you have limited or no experience in this type of role. What does matter is that you are willing to learn, are reliable, trustworthy and a team player. If you do have experience with Stoma Care, Bowel Care, Wound Care, Ventilation, Epilepsy Management and PEG feeding that is highly desirable.
Compliance requirements
You will have or be willing to obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- 2 references from prior and/or current employers
Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
