About our client
Our client is a young man in his late twenties with CP and is a disability and inclusion advocate, he is non verbal and has an interest in technology. He is seeking staff who are proactive, with a problem-solving attitude and respect for established routines.
About the Role
You will be providing personal care inclusive of manual handling (hoist) and assisting with all aspects of our client's day-to-day routine. No complex care.
Shift Requirements
AM and PM shifts on various days.
About You
Ideal applicant will have strong observational skills for non-verbal communication cues, experience with eye gaze technology would be an advantage, and a minimum of 12 months experience in the disability sector. You will be proactive, with a problem-solving attitude and respect for established routines.
Compliance requirements
You will have or be willing to obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- 2 references from prior and/or current employers
Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
