About our client
Our 15 year old female client lives with her family in the family home with 2 dogs, cat and a rabbit. (Pets can be locked outside during support shifts).
Her primary diagnosis is ASD, she is non-verbal has an intellectual disability and lennox-gastaut syndrome. She is very active and very affectionate with no behaviours of concern however she is very agile and requires constant supervision.
About the Role
Support before and after school: personal care, mealtime assistance, activities, and swimming support once a week.
Shift Requirements
Shifts are before and after school 7–9 am and 5–7 pm, with additional hours during school holidays
About You
You will be a female support worker with proven experience in providing supports to young people with ASD and are non-verbal, experience with seizure management would be highly desirable. WWCC and NDIS Screening check required.
Compliance requirements
You will have or be willing to obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- 2 references from prior and/or current employers
- Valid driver’s license
Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
