About our client
An active and enthusiastic young woman with cerebral palsy who recently celebrated her 18th birthday. She currently attends TAFE 3 days a week with the aim to become a nurse in the future. She enjoys photography, staying active, going camping and on road trips, shopping and brunch.
About the Role
Community access, namely day trips, gym sessions, and help to get to and from TAFE. She would also like support to continue to learn to drive.
Shift Requirements
2.5 hour shift per week, weekday daytime. The day is flexible.
About You
Younger female support worker- someone she can relate to and build a bond with, and who can help her with life admin and young adulting. The support worker must have a driving license and their own car. A knowledge of mental health support would be an advantage.
Compliance requirements
You will have or be willing to obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- 2 references from prior and/or current employers
- Valid driver’s license
Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
