About the Role
Join a CPSN established SIL team working across a 7-day rotating roster in supporting our 3 male clients, aged 30-50yo, at their home in Taylors Lakes. Develop strong relationships with our clients, their families and other support workers in the home. Some practical tasks and supports you will deliver include:
Support with personal care
Assist with ADL's
Assist with attending appointments
Administration of medication
Complex health and support services
Program support to achieve goals and development outcomes
Assist with cooking
Cleaning
Assist with community access at local hydrotherapy pool
Shift Requirements
Hours available across the entire week (day, afternoon, active and passive overnight, weekends)
About You
ou will ensure to uphold a person-centred and active support approach to achieve goals and outcomes for our clients. To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
- Experience supporting complex care clients e.g. hoisting, PEG feeding, bowel care, medication administration – desired but not essential
- Experience with non-verbal clients and communication techniques
- Excellent spoken English
- Be reliable and flexible
- NDIS worker screening check
- NDIS worker orientation module
- First Aid and CPR Certificates
- 2 work related references
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia
Compliance requirements
You will have or be willing to obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- 2 references from prior and/or current employers
- Valid driver’s license
Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
