

Alison Hibbert
Marketing Officer
Alison brings a strong person-centred background in the Not-for-Profit sector to CPSN, with experience at Disability organisations including SCOPE Australia.
With Lived Experience of Disability, she is a caring and passionate advocate for Inclusion and social change. Alison has been actively involved in CPSN’s Tribal Wisdom program and our Board Observership program.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and has a long-standing love of Community radio, having hosted a popular Jazz program on 3MBS 103.5 FM for over 15 years.
Outside of work, Alison loves spending time with her two sons, doing water aerobics, Pilates, watching films, baking, attending live theatre and listening to music.

Anna Balzarolo
Senior Accounts Officer
Anna Balzarolo has been with CPSN for six years as our Senior Accounts Officer. Her career journey started in sales and marketing over 20 years ago, after which time she sought a change, retraining in Finance. Over the years Anna has also worked for various private finance businesses and other Not-for-Profit organisations.
Anna enjoys working with a close-knit team who have a wealth of knowledge and experience. She likes the fact that she can help in an organisation that Supports people in what she describes very modestly as a “small [but extremely important] role!!” She describes CPSN’s culture as ‘Inclusive, Supportive and Understanding.’
Outside of work, Anna relaxes by doing many art projects such as mosaics, enjoys reading and attending her monthly book club meetings.

Sonya Rule
Human Resources Officer
Sonya is a vital behind-the-scenes team player in our Human Resources space, offering dedicated support to both the Service Delivery and Support Coordinaton teams. She helps keep compliance on track, coordinates recruitment and onboarding, and ensures smooth staff communication. Passionate about creating strong Support systems, Sonya always takes the time to meet each individual’s needs.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, camping, and spending time with loved ones.

Vernel Alberto
Accountant
Vernel has been CPSN's Accountant for the past eight years, playing a key role in automating critical Financial processes to streamline our operations. He thrives in CPSN’s Inclusive, Supportive, and Empowering work environment.
Outside of work, Vernel enjoys exploring national parks, hiking scenic trails around Melbourne, going to the gym and trying new foods.

Board observership program
All CPSN Support workers are employed (not contracted) and are verified, paid transparently, covered by comprehensive insurance and has access to training and support from CPSN. Behind our support workers is the service delivery team and CP experts ready to support you and your workers anytime.
CPSN has participated in the Board Observership program for two years. As part of our commitment to supporting individuals to gain governance experience and skills. The successful candidate is paired with CPSN for 12 months and attend all board and/or committee meetings as a non-voting member and learn about fundamental principles and functions of not-for-profit boards; what is the role of a board member; as well as fiscal processes and other governance functions.
