On Thursday, 3rd July, CPSN held an event in Docklands to celebrate CPSN’s new look and website. CPSN Staff, Clients and support workers, as well as guest dignitaries, enjoyed speeches from our CEO, lunch and even took home a special gift from CPSN. It was a wonderful atmosphere in the room as everyone was there to celebrate the heart, the stories, and the soul of CPSN. As our CEO, Kellie O’Shea, said in her speech and open letter,
"This isn’t just a new logo or a cleaner [website].. It’s a reflection of who CPSN is today…a trusted, community-led provider, deeply rooted in lived experience, and unwavering in our commitment to people living with cerebral palsy and their families” Our website and logo may have changed, but our purpose has not”
The day started with a wonderful Acknowledgement of Country from our Customer Engagement Coordinator, Elizabeth. We then heard from CEO Kellie O’Shea, who officially launched our new website and brand, while speaking from the heart about what this 18-month journey has meant for her
“Personally there were moments that truly moved me…reading the stories shared, watching the videos come together, seeing the heart and soul form so many here today that went into every page. At times I found myself unexpectedly emotional”
Kellie acknowledged our marketing and digital partner, Harvey and film partner, Fancy Films for the pivotal role they played in helping “bringing our story to life with honesty, warmth and purpose”
As part of this process, we’ve also simplified our name - weare still the Cerebral Palsy Support Network but we will refer to ourselves asCPSN - a change many of you have already adopted informally. Rest assured that does not mean we areabandoning our roots as Support Network – we are just branching out, after allour new acronym does stand for Cerebral Palsy Support Network
Big thank you to our clients, supportworkers and community - “the faces of CPSN” for your honesty, your openness, and for trusting us with your stories.” Those storiesare now featured on our website, which we will forever be grateful to you for your openness and generosity in sharing your lives with us. Your voices, stories and smiles are the heart of who we are.

Kellie wrapped her speech saying “This new look …and this new website…belongs to all of you. This is your CPSN.
And we really hope you see yourself in it.”
