About our client

Our male client in his late 20’s living with his family in Balwyn is very social and interested in many types of sports. He has Cerebral Palsy and uses a communication device. He is ambulant but will use a wheelchair for community access as needed.

About the Role

Assist with in home supports: meal prep, personal care, light housekeeping, admin and community access.

Shift Requirements

Thursday 8am to 3pm / 4pm, potential for another full day shift in the coming months.

About You

The ideal support worker will live within 30 minutes of Balwyn, be aged 20-40years, be flexible, motivated and take initiative as required. The support worker must be willing to learn how to use a communication device, able to take on constructive feedback and provide our client with autonomy and support him to reach his NDIS goals.

Compliance requirements

You will have or be willing to obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:

  1. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  2. NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  3. Current First Aid certificate
  4. Current CPR certificate
  5. 2 references from prior and/or current employers
  6. Valid driver’s license
