Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential service to help employees and their families manage personal or work-related issues. Each person can access up to 4 short-term counselling sessions per year.
Areas of support include:
- Depression, anxiety, stress, sleep disorders
- Relationships, marriage, family, parenting
- Grief, loss, illness adjustment Addiction, substance abuse, eating disorders, dietician support
- Work-related stress, domestic violence, mental illness
CPSN does not know who uses the service. Under the Privacy Act (1988), only session numbers are reported so CPSN can arrange payment.
